Hmm just want to get an idea, so....
...using some existing Icom as template for my own Guild Icon seems to be a sensible idea ..
also I'm not an "artist" with graphic .. I would like a suggestion what program to use to do it ..
Ms Paint seems not easy to use .. and the results are very poor .
It's also my low skill ;(

Umm...... I have no idea how to edit the EBM file, but if it is a small size image (30x30 or less) I would use an editor like msPaint, at 800% zoom, with the grid on. You can also use microsoft Visual Studio's icon editor, but its basically msPaint all over again, with zoom and grids as default.
Or you could just try Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, which have the capability of making cool images with thier many tools and available plugins/filters.
