LoL "mattered a lot to me"?
Not at all I haven't even updated my
program for last patch.
Just thought of commenting a little
bit. I have nothing bad to say about it, I always enjoy when people
try to help the community.
But seriously, I think my last
remark is a valid one, you should add some codes to show the right
last kill exp points when the character just gained a level.

the person didn't ask me for a full bit of code, I was just
giving him a basic example of what he was asking about... didn't
want to type more than i had too, I'm sure he can figure out how to
fix it for when the person levels up.

Also, if you kill somethign that gives you 0 EXP, it stays at
whatever you last killed ^_- So if one value changes and the other
doesn't, it should be set to 0. But I don't care because I enjoy the
proggy as-is and don't ask for nor expect any small improvements
when I can figure it out for myself that my EXP doesn't rise when I
leech EXP from a party while sitting in a corner ^_- 10/8 Merchant,
by the way ^_^ _________________ http://www.livejournal.com/users/boco

at least
with the xbox i'd know something went wrong, then...better than the
PS2, which just shows a black screen when it dies...

No matter how you slice it, Microsoft sucks. It

bug-free product and/or providing quality technical support.
Anyone who doesn't think that Bill Gates/Microsoft puts out
products just to make money is a tad naive. Look at Internet
Explorer, look at Messenger, look at Windows Media Player,
etc. These were all "innovations" (read rip-offs) of
products that were already out there. Microsoft is evil, and
the anti-trust problems they are having bear that out. Why
should the Xbox be any different?

wow...microsoft
is out there to make money? what a novel concept...
the logic here is
pretty simple, and i don't expect anyone whose head is clouded with
anti-microsoft sentiment to understand it: i like to play games, and
the xbox has games that i like. i apologize if this concept of
spending money on and using things that you enjoy just goes right
over your head, but that's pretty much how it works. when i buy
consoles, i don't think to myself "damn, this company is an evil
conglomerate trying to take over the world! never shall they have my
money!" i instead think "that game looks cool. i shall buy it and
enjoy myself."
like i said, i don't expect you to
understand, as your anti-microsoft biases clearly put you above such
a purchase. it just seems like a silly reason to avoid a game
console, that's all.

I often meet people, who go around telling everybody that
"Microsoft sucks! We hate Bill Gates!! Windows must die!!!". And the
strangest thing is, that they go to work, turn on their computer and
work under Windows. After work they go home, turn their computer on
and see the Win95,98,Me,2000,XP logo. I think they hate it SO much,
because they don't have any other choice. They have to admit that
without Bill Gates they'd still be working with DOS's black screen
and dream of an easier and faster way. We must thank Microsft that
it gave all the lazy people this operating system. If you don't
agree with me, asc yourself a question: if tomorrow Microsoft
dissapears, will life become better?

If Microsoft just up and vanished? No, life wouldn't be
better, the inflation would put us on the streets. Also,
Microsft stole DOS, and Windows was a theft from Apple. We're buying
stolen goods. If Microsoft had never been, we'd all be running
Mac OS.

Actually Microsoft bought DOS. Windows was stolen from Apple,
but they stole it from Xerox. So we would still be buying stolen
software

Wow someone that actually got the whole story right! Thanks
for picking up on that Mincer ^_^ Indeed, bill gates hasn't had an
original thought of his own, he's just an extremly good business
man. I appreciate some things he has done, I like the
standardization, but I think it would be nice if Micro$oft spent
time making the product more stable and unhackable than adding in
bells and whistles for novices who can barely use a mouse. And
updating every year of course to get more money, geeze! spend time
and make 1 real stable OS so we don't constantly need "new"
OSs!

I agree,
they are tailoring to the novice computer user. They are making it
so that you can make your GUI look pretty and easy to use, and such.
I do not care about that, I just want a stable OS. But then, they
aren't going to get as much money tailoring to the experienced user
as they are tailoring to the novice. =\

Indeed, sometimes I find it impossible to trouble shoot
something I could have easily done in win95 or win98 that i can't do
in ME or XP, because they took out the option.
