ahhh, you cant replace the exp bar with it,instead of the
hidden text? I knew how to do what you did, but i wanted to be able
to see it constantly

That's funny, but I doubt you know how to do this.
Anyway, what do you mean by "you cant replace the exp bar
with it,instead of the hidden text" ?
I replace the
percentage by the true values, I don't see anything better.

She means replace the graphical bar with the numbers, or
superimpose the numbers on top of the bar. _________________ http://www.livejournal.com/users/boco

all you need is w32dasm, a ram editor, and some extra time on
your hands... and of course the drive ^_^ hard to find that last
one, laziness and procrastination always takes over.

Lost my good copy of win32dasm on my old HD and now i cant
find a good one that works -.- so i'm using a different one called
olydbg. In about 1 hours last night i was able to get it working how
i wanted. I just need to tweek a few things now. It put me in the
mood to work on it when Arsenic basically said I didn't know how to
do it, I took that as a challenge ^_^ You shouldn't ever assume that
you are the only person that knows how to do something, there are
many more people out there that have the same knowledge you do.
This is a post I made last night not to many people saw.
(Dammit, I just typed out a really long post and these retarded
forums gave me a posting error and i lost it all, now i have to
retype the whole thing <:( ) I decided it was time to tell
everyone how my project on getting the exp numbers integreated into
the ragnarok window has been going. Well, I have decided to take
Arsenic's approach and physically integrate it into ro instead of
using an external program. I just started tonight, and have been
playing around with it for a few hours (and finding lots of neet
stuff ^_^) and I have been able to make it display your exp numbers
over the bars perfectly! I have a lot of fine tuning to do though to
get everything working right, have it display multiple values, etc.
I am not discontinuing the external program though, because I'm sure
some people won't want to patch their ragnarok exes (though i don't
see the problem), and will be adding everything everyone asked,
though this will be done after I finish patching the ragnarok exe.
(Don't even know why i'm really trying with it anymore, noone on the
internet knows how to fix the DirectX problems I was having, and
it's just too much work to figure out). After I finish researching
and finding where I need to add in code, I will release this
information and my exe that does the patching, so anyone else that
wants to work and maybe do their own patches can. I think that's
pretty much it, and Arsenic, if you read this, I may be getting in
contact with you soon to ask a few questions ^_^. Thanks everyone
for your support.

Boco :
Well that's pointless, the exp bar in the
status window looks pretty good, I don't want to replace that. If
people want to see their true exp values, they just need to move
their cursor over.
Furthermore, if they want to see the
values all the time, well I made the patch on the main window as
well, so I guess that does it.
If you want an example, take
a look there:

Sasami :
Well glad to hear you have some knowledges,
but you cannot beat me at it
By the way,
you'll need more than just a disassembler to do the job. Anyway,
take it as a challenge, but I'd like to see what you can do hehe.
