WinRoute Lite is free and could possibly help people trying
to run RO from a LAN. I haven't tried running RO from one myself, so
I can't comment too much.

Ok, I tried this "C:\Program
Files\Gravity\RagnarokOnline\Ragexe.exe" -1rag1 and it bypassed to
Patching and atleast allowed me to enter my ID and PW, but once I
hit Login, I get an error saying "Failed to setup async mode".

Sasami, do you think it would be possible to implement a
function that writes (and overwrites) your current base/job exp,
next to % etc to a file (every X seconds, or whenever it updates).
This would be very usefull (for me anyway ;0).
thanks for
this great program btw

Yeah, I could do that real quick. I'm not releasing another
version though until i figure out how to integrate it in the window
properly. I'll take all requests then and throw them in. Thank you
everyone for your supprort.
As for the beta not working
right now, I'll quickly put up a version that does somewhat work,
i'll say when it's up.
[edit] oh yeah, you can run in
windowed full screen mode by using an option in the program. Run
ragnarok in windowed mode at the same resoltuion as yoru desktop and
hit the full screen option button in my program.

That Idea is really cool, since you seem to know a nice bit
of programming, I have an idea maybe you could tackle. Alot of
people like giving their Char stat's in profiles on the forums n
such. Could you make a proggie to constantly dump the current level
values n such, maybe to a text file or something? I was kicking the
idea around for a while myself, but I lost my only copy of Visual C
and haven't used it in so long I'd have a better chance of seeing
god than creating the proggie myself.

since so many people are asking for things i'll go ahead and
do them all tomorrow and release a new version with a lot of
options. Don't feel like working on anything today. I'd rather just
sit back and watch the simpsons ^_^

Actually, Im pretty sure the people who provide thier
characters stats just type them in . But I was thinking of
a way to get the stats from the output to the webpages.
How
about an XML output? If your not framiliar to how it works I can
give you a quick template. And I'll do up some php scripts that can
take advantage of it ^_^
[edit]Oh, one other thing. what
file does your proggy look in to get the data?

HI Sasami,
I just wanted to tell you, as a fellow
programmer, that the way you integrated into the full screen display
is close to the best you will get.
But, there might be 1 or
2 small things that could be looked at.
1) If the alt-z
window content is mapped you could try to update this bitmap instead
of the screen directly (how to find the right bitmap if there is
one, i dont know)
2) Maybe there is a way to take control
(with DirectX SDK) of the screen output just before doing a page
swap (or maybe find how to write in the back buffer)
Hope
this information helps you progress. Personally, i have dual screen
so i dont mind the first version.

Sasami:
I just did my Exp View code (Wasn't hard
hehe). I did it like I told you I would, patching the RO Exp
routines from the inside - Patch in the RO process memory.
If you want to see how it looks, check these:
http://server44.hypermart.net/arsenic-network/ExpView1.jpg
http://server44.hypermart.net/arsenic-network/ExpView2.jpg
Works very fine. I shall release the program soon.
Later
