Heh, I promote a very open atmosphere here. Anything can be a topic of dicussion as long as it's not highly inappropriate for mixed audiences um... i don't have the need to edit/delete posts or ban any users. *shrugs* No one really flames here either. Daish tried to flame me but it turned into a joke real fast |

Well if any of you do know Japanese what does Baka na ama mean? Someone said that to me and I'm trying to find out what it actually means. I think I know what they meant but I want to know if they did it correctly.
Oh and hi.

depending on the context... you can use Baka... in a cute friend way.. just saying like.. "you idiot" like you said a friend.... or in a mean way.. "You are an idiot"
na = of?
ama no sure....
update: someone told me it means "stupid bitch" roughly translated

My friend has an English To Japanese (And Vice Versa) dictionary. Baka na was stupid, I think, and ama was bitch. I wasn't sure if it was actually correct though, because unlike English most other languages' words change context (more often) when put in sentences.
Chibi-Bar just consider it (bitch) in the context of a female dog, because that is what it is. Of course in the dictionary we had it wasn't meant as female dog, but more in an insulting way.
Well now I know I should definately bring pain upon that person.
And yes we do have a dictionary that contains curse words and other useful phrases, such as sonna koto shitta koto ja nai.

Ya, and kuso means (shit, damn), and a regularly and very funny mispronounciation Americans do is when they say bus. It's really pronounced 'basu', but if you accidently say 'busu' people will think your reffering to the driver. In fact if you insert baka- as a prefix befor any noun you make it insulting. And there are two or three baka na naninani words that I can't think of right now.
As far as that clan ommnimech-the Daishi(Dire Wolf) goes. You should know well why the Kuritans nicknamed it 'Daishi'.
