I spoke too soon. (Although I was correct at the time of my post)
Mr. Peter Kang's password to the iRO GM website was guessed two days ago. The person who guessed the password was able to obtain Remote Administrator privs to workstations on Gravity's DMZ network, and got access to the iRO DB.
He read Christy's password and logged in as her, so iRO GM has been hacked.
That's why they're rolling back.
So much for that record.

I'd like to know how rolling back will solve the problem though...

Well, it solves the immediate problem of the fact that the person was handing out rares and things, but it doesn't solve the fact that Gravity's security sucks. They have the username and password of every account on iRO. I mailed in a more useful password policy than the one they had, hopefully they use it and suck less.

you can trust me on the fact that anything you ever submit to gravity as a suggestion will never get read by anyone of importance. *shrugs* |

*sigh*
Why do bad policies happen to good games?
-----
It's just not fair.
Now I'm stuck waiting for a certification code or some such nonsense because they cant seem to handle the ever-difficult task of bulk-mail. (Which it isn't, really, but it sure feels that way.) |

Because those good games are from bad companies |

Sasami, I wouldn't be overly sure.
We'll just say I found shiny-fluttery-light at the end of the tunnel (Ask Sugar, Salt, and Pepper )

I remember that one... hehehehe
Perhaps they're just embarrased to admit that their testers know how to fix stuff and they dont? >_>
((Although I really doubt that idea)) |

i don't, their staff is now next to incompetent, most all of the real staff already left a long time ago, a big group of them with the CEO, many others far before. |

I thought only a little of the staff went with the CEO...
but even if there was a big of them,
You'd have to hand it to them that they're still standing and haven't wad away their users...yet.
