Crazy crossover of the Street Fighter Series (and Secret of Mana) and Ragnarok Online!!
The movie is 3.53MB and there is no preloader so you may have to be patient...most likely you'll see nothing but it is actually downloading (when its finished the background will turn from white to green).
I wish I could give credit to the creator but I can't figure out who made it.. |

O.O... It is. That's a very awesome flash (best I've seen) and I find myself wishing that it existed/RO was fast paced like that (and worked like that) in some cases. Hmm, is it an actual project they're working on? (will sasami help XD?) |

This should be RBO creator's website. (Also one of two links in the actual animation)
http://www.gr33d.com/~mirai/od/oousodl.html
And this place offers mirrors to download the RBO animation and another animation called Ragnarok Online - Another Story. Everything is in Japanese.
Too many talented Japanese people out there . |

Yeah I can only read chinese with the phonetics. After learning 2 years I still have a hard time forming sentences and remembering what is what. |

MingShun...
Japanese and Chinese....
I am quite fluent in one, learning the other...
For the people who're quite interested in the languages...
I'd say Japanese will never be easier than Chinese (especially when you begin to learn Kanji)
Both language shares one main difficulty : their written form (pictograms)
Chinese sentence structure is very simple, but the pronounciations are hell to pick up if you're not native (then again.. cantonese is worse )
Japanese sentence structures are complicated, but at least their pronounciation is manageable.
(These are just some stuff that I glean from my studies) |

Every language is hard to learn...just gotta have some enthusiasm (and good teachers ).
I never was able to pick up more than verbal Chinese (Cantonese specifically) because:
1. Lack of enthusiasm.
2. North American influence at a very early age. (TV goooood )
3. The teachers in Chinese school were raving maniacs; they always expected even the weakest of students to excel, and their methods of teaching were crazy even at an elementary level.
Teacher: "Read this out loud to the class!" (some paragraph in a Grade 5 level book)
Me: "Read what?" (not knowing what the teacher is referring to, because she never made any reference in the first place)
Teacher: *stomps angrily in front of me* "This!!" (points to some obscure paragraph on a page no one has read yet)
Me: *looking confused* "Teacher, I don't know how to read this.."
Teacher: *frustrated* "I can't believe this!!" (proceeds to take me outside and give me the tongue lashing for the day. I can do nothing but take it.)
That experience, which happened at least once every two weeks, slayed my enthusiasm... |

I don't understand Japanese grammar...Too many particles if you ask me...
Chinese...You have to keep memorizing.
English...If you're able to pronounce Chinese and Japanese, I can't speak english correctly now, my tongue won't let me.

i dont understand why the japenese and chinese languages, when written, have like 4,000+ characters... i think my brain would explode if i tried to learn all those, even learning a programming language seems easy compared to those languages (except you need good logic skills to produce syntax for a working program....)

Heh, lots of people have wondered about this. But it's just like distinguishing a piece of paper from cardboard from a pen etc. It's all about recognition of symbols. Granted, English has only 26 characters in its alphabet while Chinese does not have such an alphabet per se (it's based on the arrangement of strokes and 'dots' for the lack of a better word). And while there are 4,000+ characters in Chinese (and Japanese Kanji and many more languages) there are 4,000+ words in English; sort of the same thing, no?
Even in programming languages it is a similar thing. There may be less syntax or 'words' to deal with but here you're trying to communicate with machine code; interfacing with a computer to tell it what to do without saying it directly in 1's and 0's and I'm sure that would be a guaranteed nightmare if people still had to do that... |
